Equipment Maintenance Technician
I. Educational and Professional Requirements
Minimum secondary vocational school (or equivalent) diploma; associate degree or higher preferred.
Majors related to Mechatronics, Electrical Automation, CNC Technology, or Mechanical Equipment Maintenance.
II. Experience Requirements
At least 5 years of equipment maintenance experience in the manufacturing industry, including a minimum of 3 years specifically focused on servicing CNC machines such as machining centers, CNC lathes, and milling machines.
Proficient in FANUC and/or Siemens CNC systems, capable of performing parameter backup and restoration, reading and making basic modifications to PMC ladder diagrams, diagnosing system alarm faults, and installing/tuning drives and servo motors.
Familiar with the mechanical structure of CNC machine tools (including spindles, tool magazines, tool changers, ball screws, and linear guides) and skilled in precision adjustment. Understands hydraulic and pneumatic system principles and can troubleshoot related failures.
III. Technical Skills Required
Electrical Skills: Able to interpret complex electrical schematics; proficient in using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools to identify and resolve faults in circuits, sensors, relays, and inverters.
Mechanical Skills: Capable of disassembling, reassembling, and adjusting machine tool accuracy; able to inspect wear and replace mechanical components such as bearings and ball screws.
CNC System Proficiency: Knowledgeable in FANUC, Siemens, or similar systems; experienced in resolving common faults such as system failure to boot, black screens, encoder alarms, and servo overloads.
Diagnostic Ability: Logical and methodical; able to quickly pinpoint root causes (mechanical, electrical, or system-related) by interviewing operators, observing symptoms, and analyzing alarm messages and system parameters.
Learning & Documentation Skills: Able to read and understand mechanical assembly drawings, electrical schematics, and hydraulic/pneumatic circuit diagrams in technical manuals.

1.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Hydraulics and Transmission, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
2.At least three years of experience in mechanical design or process layout.
3.Proficient in various mechanical design software; possesses foundational knowledge of hydraulics and transmission; demonstrates strong teamwork and coordination skills; and is adept at selecting platform products and modules for product design and development.
4.Familiar with Office suite, AutoCAD, Inventor, OA systems, and PLM software.
